Geopolitical tensions, security challenges and shifting trade flows have made close dialogue between business, politics and the port industry more essential than ever. This is precisely why chamber members Stena Line and the Port of Kiel, as well as the Port of Gothenburg and Port of Hamburg Marketing cordially invite members of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce and interested parties to the German-Swedish Maritime Forum 2026 to discuss resilient supply chains and the future of European port locations.

Look forward to inspiring contributions and valuable exchanges with leading representatives from Germany and Sweden. At the heart of the forum lies the question of how resilient supply chains and high-performing ports can strengthen Europe’s competitiveness and what opportunities this holds for German-Swedish cooperation. The programme will be shaped by keynote addresses from Johan Holmlund (Business Sweden), member of Team Sweden Germany and the chamber’s board, complemented by a fireside chat with industry representatives from e.g. chamber member Tetra Pak and a panel discussion with the heads of the four host organisations, exploring the future of maritime corridors and shared strategies for navigating a rapidly changing global trade environment.

A networking lunch, an exclusive tour of the Stena Scandinavica and a maritime afterwork reception offer further opportunities to forge new connections and deepen existing partnerships. The event will be conducted in English.

Special offer: Participants travelling from Sweden are welcome to use the convenient Stena Line connection between Gothenburg and Kiel. Stena Line will offer a special return fare for event participants and will host an informal pre-welcome gathering on board during the crossing. Further information on the discount arrangement can be obtained via Ramona Dannenberg (ramona.dannenberg@stenaline.com).
