Ports at the Frontline: Resilient Supply Chains in a Shifting Global Landscape

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a Save the Date for a high-level German-Swedish maritime forum taking place in Kiel, bringing together senior decision-makers from the port, logistics and industrial sectors across both countries.

Co-hosted by chamber members Stena Line and Port of Kiel, as well as Port of Gothenburg and Port of Hamburg Marketing, the forum will provide a platform for strategic exchange on the resilience of maritime supply chains in an increasingly complex geopolitical and economic environment.

Against the backdrop of shifting trade routes, geopolitical uncertainty and growing pressure on global logistics systems, resilient cooperation across the Baltic Sea region is becoming a decisive factor for economic stability and competitiveness. The event will offer a timely opportunity for stakeholders from Germany and Sweden to exchange perspectives, strengthen networks and deepen bilateral maritime cooperation.

The programme will include keynote speeches, a moderated high-level panel discussion, industry perspectives and dedicated networking formats. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to join a joint vessel tour aboard a Stena Line ferry, offering a practical perspective on maritime operations and cross-border connectivity.

The event will be conducted in English. A formal invitation including the detailed agenda and registration details will follow in due course. Mark the event in your already today!

Special offer: Participants travelling from Sweden are welcome the use the convenient Stena Line connection between Gothenburg and Kiel. Stena Line will offer a special return fare for event participants and will host an informal pre-welcome gathering on board during the crossing. Further information on the discount arrangement can be obtained via Ramona Dannenberg (ramona.dannenberg@stenaline.com).
